rawr22
I'm surprised this does not exist already. At least I can't find it if it does. I hate the fact you have to do most of the quests in a city before you can buy a house there, because by the time you have the house, you no longer need to visit the city any more. I'd like a mod that allows you to buy any house right off, so you can then use it as a base to do all the quests in the area.

fraquar
They really can't make it any easier to qualify for the Whiterun and Riften houses unless they just gave you the key in Helgen at the start of the game.
rawr22
I assumed it would be a simple dialogue change to the jarls steward allowing the conversation to buy a house earlier, but I'm probably wrong.

Elec0
It's most likely a variable, or condition, that would need to be changed. It probably wouldn't be hard to do.
