Disappearing Objects in Render Window

I couldn't find a topic for this by searching, so I hope this hasn't been explained already.

As I move around in the render window in exterior locations, parts of the landscape will disappear. This usually happens with large rocks and houses. Sometimes I can get them to reappear by turning different directions and sometimes nothing works.

I figure this is probably something simple i'm missing, but is there any way to prevent this from happening?

It would also be nice if it would show more landscape at a time. It seems it can only show one square of land at a time and past a certain distance there is just void. Is there any way to increase how far out it shows things?

This tends to happen in the "Tamriel" worldspace when you zoom out, it only loads a few cells at a time and Landscape LOD is disabled by default. Right click in your render window go to Render Window Properties and check out the settings under the "Render Window", "LOD" and "Misc" tabs, you should be able to get what you need there.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! This fixes one problem for sure. The graphics aren't as good as if they were close up, but it definitely helps enough to give an idea of my surroundings when working on my project.

It does not seem to fix my disappearing objects problem though. I tried restarting the CK and things still disappear. After moving around a little, big rocks disappear and the large stone walls I just added are also disappearing. It seems to be only certain large objects that are doing this.

It's not that the object is gone, just invisible. I can still select the object if I know where it is, and move it, but I cannot see it. Moving around at weird angles can sometimes bring them back, or at least some of them. It doesn't seem to matter where my camera is, or what cell it is in. I tried messing around with all of the LOD settings as well with no apparent change. :[

I still have this problem as well with certain objects. What I generally do to fix the problem is reload the data I'm working on after saving. It may be related to loading different cells and coming back to the same one again, I'm not sure as the problem never occured when I remained in the same cell doing things.
