mercury19 Posted May 8, 2017 Share Posted May 8, 2017 Ok so I'm messing around trying to make a new armor set using a retexture of some vanilla armor and I've got some questions. I've got the textures/meshes in game, recipes, stats, etc. all work great. But I'm running into some clipping issues with the gauntlets. Specifically, for some races/genders, the left gauntlet won't follow the arm properly when in an unarmed fighting stance. I can't seem to get a picture attached, I'll see if I can get one after I post this. This issue also happens with some variations of the vanilla steel gauntlets, I remember seeing it on an Argonian. Anyhow I've been digging through the steel gauntlet meshes (since those are the items I'm retexturing), and I'm a bit lost. A lot of them look identical, and according to the creation kit some that should exist don't? For SteelGlovesKhaAA, they specifically reference Amor\Steel\F\gauntletskha_1.nif. This file does not exist, as far as I can tell, nor does the Argonian equivalent. In addition, I can't tell the difference between the 1st person meshes and the 3rd person (unlabeled) ones.
