Farazzak
Hey everyone, I'm a bit in a situation here. Been looking around the Nexus and the internet for a solution and came up with nothing. I want to be able to load multiple .esm files but the GECK won't let me First of all I am running Fallout New Vegas through steam on a windows 8 operating system.C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas I did some researched and I know I need to input this command in the geckcustom.ini filebAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1But the problem is that there is no geckcustom.ini at all in my fallout New Vegas folder. I found some info that said you need to open the geck at least once and the folder will create itself or something. Nothing after I open and close the GECK, and nothing if I leave it open and look. I couldn't find a pre-made .ini file on the internet I could utilize. I even created my own geckcustom.ini file and literally just put in that command:bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1I don't know computer coding but if that has any chance of working, I think I need to put something in [ ] brackets before the command but I don't know what. Any explanation or help would be wonderful. Thanks guys and gals. -Farazzak

MikeArclight
I know this is years late, but thought I might share this:My GECKCustom.ini somehow got shunted to This PC > Documents > My Games > FalloutNV Not sure why it did that since the Geck.exe is where it's supposed to be; but maybe this will help out some other folks. dubiousintent
This is because the GECKCustom.ini file is added by the "GECK Extender" plugin, which places it there for each separate "account" on the PC. The Extender can be customized for multiple users of the PC, each of whom might be using the GECK itself in common. This does not invalidate the advice about moving the game out of the default Steam install location of "C:\Program Files(x86)". FYI: As you seem to be new to the forums, please accept this in the friendly spirit in which it is offered: see the Nexus "Terms of Service" about not resurrecting old threads. -Dubious-
