philosopher101
PLEASE RESPOND WITH FULL DETAIL AND PROOF OF YOUR POINT OF VIEW!! Thank you The question is: What did you look like before your parents were born? Use your imagination, you as a person has not been born yet nor has your parents been born yet. so what do YOU look like. This question is not mystical, theological, spiritual, or religious in any way.Although i have seen it used in certain religions. But THAT IS NOT THE POINT! Think about it!!!! Vagrant0
What did you look like before your parents were born? I obviously didn't look like anything since there was nothing which could be seen or even precieved. And subjects pertaining to theological arguments aren't allowed in these forums, and even if they were, there is no basis for any related claims. And in most religions which do not believe in reincarnation, the theology is more concerned with what happens to people when they die, rather than the origin of the soul before birth. Think about it!!!!I did, what are you hoping to achieve here exactly? Are we still celebrating 4/20 (do not discuss 4/20 as per forum rules)? evilkoal
well, since sperm and eggs are not produced until said persons hit puberty, i would have to say that if i tried to look upon myself the entire universe would have imploded.

Marcus Wolfe
Then we'd all look the same. End of story.

This question is not theological and im not on any narcotics. In essance this question is to get at a new kind of thinking for somone they normally dont think about. There is an exact answer and none of your are even close. Hint: don't think out side the box, burn the box!!!
Xeniorn
There cannot possibly be an exact answer since it is a purely hypothetical question, therefore there is nothing empiric to back your theory up. How do you define the "what you look like"? It cannot be physical appearance since you don't exist as a body whether your "soul" exist or not. I can only guess what you meant by this "exact" answer. Perhaps you'd say you are an entity whose corporal parts are parts of DNA in four different people? In any case your question lacks logic in itself and cannot be logically answered. For it to be answerable you'd have to redefine "what you look like". I'm disappointed. I expected a true philosophical question, not some word-playing. You are close on that one, But you are still off what i mean by an exact answer is one that rings true for all people, thus even if the 4 parts of DNA make-up is what you look like it is not the same DNA for all people. Keep thinking there is an answer to this questin that aplies to all people living, dead and even undead.
