Port from oldrim

From what I understand only the author of the mod can port it over Unless (s)he gives permission for someone to port it over or gives permission folks to do what they want with the mod. I know I've tried to get a couple of mods ported over but with no luck even though the Mod author has been MIA for 4 years or so.

Correct. We cannot do anything without the mod authors permission. Without the authors permission, any alterations someone makes to the mod would have to stay on their system, since uploading it would only end with it being removed again and the uploader being issued a warning (at the least). So you can fix it up for yourself, you just can't share it.

I think I'm going to see if there is any videos on youtube that will teach me how to port mods for my own personal use. As there is one crossbow mod which I would love to have in game that is cool looking.
