Renryuu Posted May 10, 2017 Share Posted May 10, 2017 Hello, so I've been tinkering around with files and existing mods to create a sort of singular comprehensive mod for my mage and I'm just about done with it, but I've run into a snag. So far I've managed to modify a few spells to reduce cooldown and cost (Arcane Bolt, Lightning, Winter's Grasp, and Stonefist), I've modified all sustain spells from both Origins and Awakening to have them all with 0 Upkeep and 0 Fatigue, and finally I've removed the negative mana regeneration bonus from Origin mange sustains such as Haste, Spell Might, etc. (though left Wynne's unique aura alone minus upkeep and fatigue cost). My current issue is modifying Combat Magic from Arcane Warrior so that it doesn't have the transparency effect when taking Fade Shroud. I know there is a mod that exist that does this, but the mod uses a .ncs file so I'm unable to open it to use as a reference and I can't just simply use the mod since it'll overwrite mine. So I was wondering if anyone happened to know what lines I need to edit to remove the transparency effect, I would greatly appreciate it if you let me know. Oh, and if anyone happens to know where to access the data for Awakening mage spells and passives (and perhaps even the Origin's mage passives), I'd love to know as I was wanting to edit those as well. I've been doing the best I can through google searches and just digging around the DA Toolset, but have been coming up empty so I figured I'd ask you lovely people. I dunno if there would be any interest in my mod since I basically have no real experience in modding and this particular mod is more or less just a straight up cheat mod to make mage a bit more fun after having played mage in DA several times over, but I would be happy to upload it onto the DA Nexus Mods site once everything is worked out with it and meets my satisfaction.
