Tarran61
Hey all, I've just returned to fallout taking up Fallout 4, in my testing of mods I really jacked the game up and removing a mod doesn't fix the problem. One of these sorting mods has messed up all my inventory items to include items on body's and containers. Removing the mod didn't remove all the tags, starting a new game with the mod removed also did remove its tags so I'm looking at removing the game and reinstalling. I really don't want to start from day one again, can I save a save and insert it back into the saves folder and start from where I left off? Thank you all for your time. ibldedibble
It sounds like there's a script or something still in the save file, which means a re-install won't help. Your best bet is probably to reload an earlier save before you added the mod.
MightyZ0G
you could also try the save cleaner (available on the Nexus) to see if that can get rid of the unwanted effects.

The tags still show from the dead and containers when looting.you could also try the save cleaner (available on the Nexus) to see if that can get rid of the unwanted effects. Will search, does it go by that name? Thanks for the replies all.
ibldedibble
FallrimTools (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22633/?) has a ReSaver that can clean save files. But since it fails even on a new character, you probably need to re-install or at least do a file verification in Steam (if you're playing on PC). There are 2 things you can do first though:1 - see if it occurs on a completely new vanilla character. (No mods at all running.)2 - if the problem doesn't exist on a vanilla character, activate a couple of mods at a time until you find the culprit.
