RitualBlack
I would assume you are importing a Skyrim .nif. Those rarely (if ever) import correctly into blender. Currently you will have to import it into the Skyrim compatible version of Nifskope and than export it as a wavefront format mesh. Than import that mesh into blender. PrinceofGreece
Seems so yeah. If I change it into an obj though partition gets lost. That's my main problem, partition. My nif only loads if I delete BSdismemberment and I obviously can't do without it.How do I mport a nif without deleting BSdimemberment? RitualBlack
Is it just a mesh you wish to change or are you working on something more than that? You could always edit the mesh and replace the old one with the new one in nifskope but I am afraid I will not be able to help you if you wish to edit an animation or something. I am not so good at that  .
PrinceofGreece
I tried that with the helmet I am trying to add in-game but this being a fuss because you need something called partition.Partition defines the face of the mesh. If you don't create your own partition a random one will be applied and your model will look gibberish in-game.
RitualBlack
I have not done much with the Skyrim meshes yet but this thread may be useful: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/530086-nifskope-bsdismemberskininstance-partitions/
PrinceofGreece
Saw it earlier. Wasn't much help.
RitualBlack
Ok, sorry I couldn't help you out  . Blender doesn't have nifscripts for Skyrim yet so I am not sure exactly people are doing it. They seem to be assigning them in Nifskope. I suppose it would be easiest to wait for the blender support  .
