Richardo11
i wonder what would be the order..say, you make a bash patch (wrye bash and then you make a merge patch (sseedit - skyrim se)..Or it is the other way around??.-Thanks Edited May 12, 2017 by Richardo11
cmaesing
I have read in many forums, guides etc - if you google, you should find a few very helpful pages. Here is one for Oldrim, but the basic principles (and pros and cons of the different tools discussed) also hold true for Skyrim SE: https://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/619573787291424440/ That said, what works for me is to 1. create a bashed patch with Wrye Bash, and then 2. a merged patch (into whcih via SSEedit, with the merged patch being at the very bottom of my load order, the bashed patch just above. Although the order might not matter actually (as in my case), as the merged patch does not contain the bashed patch as a master. So should be fine either way. For example until this morning I had the horrible "black children faces" of the RS Children Overhaul mod. Only the aforementioned procedure resolved it (while I didn't have the nerve to test which one of those might have done it alone - I was just too happy to finally have gotten rid of a bug).
