Fatmangotmypie
Ok so quick problem, and itll probably have an easy solution that im missing. So i uninstalled fallout 4 recently to make room for another game. After I had beaten that game i reinstalled fallout 4 pulled it up and when i tried to hit continue it told me that all of my mods are missing. I checked the NMM and they are all still there and still active. So whats up? How do I fix this. What am I missing? If it helps I tried to LOOT the mods to see if that was the problem. It sorted alright but when I hit Apply I got the message "Error code: 1; Libloadorder failed to set load order. Details: "C:\Users\Person\AppData\Local\Fallout4\plugins.txt" could not be written. Details: ios_base::badbit set: iostream stream error" âI also tried rescanning Fallout 4 through NMM and then reinstalling my mods one by one but on a number of them I get this messageâ"Nexus Mod Manager has encountered an error and needs to closeA Trace Log file was created at:âC:\Users\Person\OneDrive\Documents\Nexus Mod Manager\ TraceLog20170512212442.txtâBefore reporting the issue, don't close this window and check for a fix here (you can close it afterwards):âhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/721054-read-here-first-nexus-mod-manager-frequent-issues/âif you can't find a solution, please make a bug report and attach the TraceLog file here:âhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/tracker/project-3mod-manager-open-beta/Do you want to open the TraceLog folder?"I don't know if these have anything to do with the mods not working but I figured I might as well put it in just in case. Thanks guys. GigaPhreak
The only part I'd be able to help you with is the plugins.txt problem. That file is normally kept as "Read Only," meaning that the computer can read it but not write to it. Loot needs to edit it, therefore you may need to manually find the file in explorer, right click it, select properties, and then make sure the box next to "Read Only" is empty. Hit apply, and then Loot should be able to save to the file. May be good practice to make it Read Only again after you've run and sorted with Loot. The rest I'm not sure about.
