Fallingwater Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) Today I started the game up, and immediately noticed that some textures (mostly walls, but I think I've seen it happen on a shield as well) have an intermittent weird wavy effect. It happens for about a second or two every 5-6 seconds. I made a video to explain it better: http://youtu.be/hCdz465FXbo It had never done this before. I played the game for hours yesterday evening (ok, ok, yesterday night) and it worked perfectly. I added or modified not a thing since then, to the game or to the computer. I tried rebooting to no effect. I'm using the latest patch. I do have Skyrim HD (full), but I always have, and it didn't do this before. I can't play it like this, whenever the textures go all wavy it's very noticeable and annoying. Any idea on how to fix it? If that's the problem, there's a mod that fixes some of that--http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8043Also, are you completely and wholly sure this is new, or have you just not observed it before?
