BlackreachDwemer
Hello everyone,I want to create a Mod that enables every vanilla warpaint for every Race, for example to make Orc warpaint usable for Nords. My Problem is that I cant find any of the warpaint .dds files. I looked in the tintmasks Folder, (Data > textures > actors > character > character assets > tintmasks), where they should be located, but the only ones I could find, where the Forsworn, Boethia and Blackblood Tattoos. So I wanted to ask someone, who knows more about such things than me, where I can find these files.
thumbincubation
They all come up for me. Open up Skyrim - Textures0 with your FOMM or whatever .bsa extractor you're using, and they should be there. I'm using BSA browser 1.6.5 and they all come up, by searching "paint" in the box.

sakora
There is a mod that started this sort of thing, you could expand it for yourself - Warpaints and Skis Plus Or you could make a newer better version!!! Some of the mods from Oldrim do work, I am currently using Extended Slider Colors
thumbincubation
Ah, ok. I don't know which of them is considered the "best," but BSA Browser seems to do the job well for me. I'd recommend steering clear of the extract all buttons, and use the right-click menu, so you only get the ones you've highlighted. Also, right-click > extract just puts them all into your designated folder loose. Right-click > extract folders, on the other hand, will divide them up into their respective file paths, inside "meshes" and "textures" folders, for convenience. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1756/?
