Ryonyay
There are quite a few player home mods from the original game that I really love but are unfortunately not ported to SSE. I just want to know if I can download and use player homes from the original game in SSE. Thanks
TheVampireDante
Depends. If it's using new "meshes" you'd have to run it thought the nif updater that's on site. If it's just vanilla game content (just an esp basically) then there shouldn't be any issues. Any that require the script extender for something (displays, inventory sorting, etc) are a no-go right now. No script extender for SSE yet. If the mod has a BSA file, you'd need to unpack that, and repack it in the BA2 format. That's easy enough though.
sakora
Another thing would be if the House mod add's NPC's to the game, you will want to open up CK, set the house mod as the active file, once its loaded find the NPC's -> Edit (you dont need to change anything) just click OK, hit save, exit CK (wait for the program to actually close) A number of Oldrim houses work in SSE with a little bit of work, typically its posted in the comments area if its working with SSE or not. I've successfully ported for myself the following: I left a comment on how I was able to get them working for myself!FeykroWhiterun Mansion - With the General Storge working! If there is any home specifically you are looking for feel free to send me a PM and I can try to walk you through the steps of porting!
