doomjockey
I like to take dagger attack on the buttocks ..KKK`~ :P El. Oh. El. I usually try to balance my own preferences like Marksman and Alchemy with indispensable skills like Blade and some kind of armor skill so I won't have to struggle through the game. That or it's a quick trip back to the game queue.
Thanodai
I tend to go through the game with a fighter type (as previously stated), with some alchemy to help cover up the lack of magic skills. When I'm having fun, I go around blasting people to oblivion as a mage with custom spells. Tactical Nuclear Strike anyone? -T- Edit: Yes, I'm tired and I forgot I'd posted earlier on this thread.
IndorilTheGreat
Sorry! I didn't list a knights skills before. So here they are: Blade Block Blunt Heavy Armor Illusion Speechcraft .............. (I can't seem to remember the last one right now... I'll get back to it tomorrow... I'm really...really... t-t-t-tired... *Yawns* right... now........zzzzzzzzzzzz....... )
nachtefuchs
I stick to a template of: <weapon skill><armour skill>Block<magic skill> (Either Resto or Destruction) Then I decide what I'm going to focus on most (Stealth, Magic or Combat) and pick three more skills that'll be the most useful. If I'm making a pure mage, I'd forgo the armour in favour of Alteration. Also, I never pick Alchemy or Sneak as major skills. Both of them cause me to level too fast, and the rest of my skills just can't keep up.
hamdragon2
I use Magic, Because i have Midas Magic & i blast the (insert suitable swear word) out of anything. Aso i played morrowind a lot and the fighting system was (insert suitable swear word) without 300 long blade from cheats, and then i killed anything in my path so it was boriiiiiiiiiiiiiiing. :wallbash: PS: in morrowind you had long blade, short blade, axe, blunt, heavy armor, medium armor, light armor ect. hamdragon2
PSS: from my last post, i didn't directly say that the bad morrowind combat system  was the reason i used magic all the time, even though that's why. just thought i should put that in for the slow-coaches. :ermm:

Halororor
If your a combat character does it really help to have magic as skills? I once played a spellsword and didn't like it much, because at lvl 26 you still don't really have enough mana to use spells that are effective at those high lvls
DeathsAdvocate
My main is a Wood Elf "Sniper." I've grown to prefer this play style over any other. Main attributes are Agility and Intelligence, my Birthsign is "Shadow." Major Skills: MarksmanAcrobaticsAlchemySneakLight ArmorIllusionMysticism I dropped didn't pick up Blade because I wanted to play a bush hunter type...I pew pew pew people from far away hidden behind foliage, rocks, or the cover of darkness. If an enemy ever attempts to engage me in melee combat, I disable them with Paralyze magic (and if that doesn't work, I run away with Invisibility), and jump onto high ledges/rocks/trees with my amazing Acrobatic skills...and proceed to kill accordingly.Didn't grab security because my character believes that stealing is pointless when you can just kill the person and take his possessions.
