polluxval Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Just a few questions about chanign the gender of an existing NPC: 1. somehow the skin color its different from the face. i already tried "update npc body tint colors" . 2. as in oblivion, once u changed the gender, when u talk to them the text goes very fast. is there a fix already out there? Osteoporozis Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Changing race and gender using the CK is touchy, just like Oblivion. As for your skin problem, I saw this when I played around with resetting my own character in-game, and reloading fixed it (not that the result was ever worth keeping). Using the CK for NPCs, however, you might want to try adjusting skin color inside of the CK. It's under "Character Gen Parts".As for the fast talking: if the NPC doesn't have a lot of unique dialogue, you can set the voice to the desired race and gender and see no dialogues skipping at all. For example, if your in-game spouse is a Nord male and you want to make it a female, after changing the gender you can go to voice type and change the voice to "Nordfemale".
