leafs43
I came to the realization tonight that the creation kit doesn't allow for the creation of new items. It can only make re-textured items that already exist in Skyrim's files. So obviously I need a 3rd party 3D program that is compatible with Skyrim. I was thinking Blender but I am not sure. Basically my goal was to recreate some weapons and armor found in a series called King's Field, and maybe design some simple dungeons around getting them. Rennn
I love KF4! Best PS2 game ever. You're probably talking about the earlier PS1 games though, and I never played those. Blender is probably the best free choice.
leafs43
I love KF4! Best PS2 game ever. You're probably talking about the earlier PS1 games though, and I never played those. Blender is probably the best free choice. The early playstation games were far superior to the PS2 King's field game. I highly recommend anyone a fan of TES play them. The graphics might be crap and the NPCs faceless, but they are quite amazing games. Hard as hell too. If you can recall KF4, the Dark Slayer sword is actually crafted in the 2nd game of the series (1st in the US series). All the unique weapons have pretty decent lore behind them as well. What I was actually thinking about doing is making sort of a mega man-esque mini game in Skyrim around the unque weapons found in the King's Field series. It's a lot of work, but if I can get the right rendering tool and create them, could be one of the best mods for Skyrim.
