how bout making a lion race mod for skyrim? here's a example:

Well, the closest you can get at the moment would be to use this follower mod, S'in -The Mane-, but you would first have to take it apart and then build a mod to be able to use his assets and textures on your player character.

 

There was also a set of lion Khajiit heads for males and females available in Catlike Khajiit, but the mod was taken down some time ago. You can still find it available if you google it, though. Don't think anyone ever made any lion-specific textures for Khajiits, so that's all I can offer.

 

Otherwise, there is a mod that plans to include a sabretooth lion race based on Skyrim's own sabrecat design, which should look lion-like enough (if we don't take the sabre teeth into account, that is). The update that will bring that race is still a long way off, though, and the mod is only available in LL. You can search for it if you want in the meantime (but beware NSFW content, since we're talking about LL). There should be some (early WIP) images of the female version of the race somewhere in the mod thread.

Funny running into you here Blaze. Thought I would browse the Nexus forums which I never do, and cool mane mod. BTW CyberWolf69, modders recourse lion assets are on my to-to list. Already made a tail, but gonna do sabercat heads first before I do lions.

What happened to the progress here? I don't understand why no modders have made a lion race mod yet.
