magic hands bug

i'm wondering if just i have this glitch, or if no one else notices.

equip flames in your left hand and anything in your right hand. now move forward while casting flames (don't walk with shift or caps lock, nor sprint with alt) with only one hand, and at some point while still moving forward stop casting flames. does your hand return to the neutral position, and then quickly jump / stutter once? my does every time no matter what, with any spell. it looks like instead of just staying where it's supposed to after you're done casting, your hand jumps to another location for like 1 frame and then returns to the right spot. you can really notice this if you quickly click on and off to just do the spell's startup animation. no matter how far into a cast you are, it will pop violently.

what's interesting is the one exception to this glitch: now when you're moving forward, cast 2 spells at once (but not in a combined spell--as in start one, then start the other). now again, while still moving forward, release only one of the spells and let the other keep charging / firing. your hand that stopped casting will return smoothly to the resting position without glitching out. if you then release the other spell (again, you have to be moving), it will glitch. you can do the same trick as above: hold down one spell and rapidly click the other one. you will see that the animation is completely smooth on the rapidly firing hand.

so in conclusion: moving while casting always gltiches your hand's ending animation unless you are constantly casting with your other hand.

-happens with any combination of spells / weapons.

-spells like ice spike will cause the glitch after the spike has travelled several yards

-happens if you're using a dual-casting spell

-much more noticeable on the left hand because it jumps farther away from the resting position
