CyniclyPink
You're very welcome. Just for fun, open up one of the Hearthfire homes in CK. It makes Breezehome look easy.hahaha...I did! I'm so traumatised I'm giving up before I start! :D

ttabakova
Anything you deleted can be undeleted in xEdit. It actually has the function "Undelete and Disable" which does exactly this: finds deleted staff and changed the flag to disabled. Problem is, if you open the mod in CK after that, you will see all that things again, cause "disabled" flag doesn't make it disappear in CK. So you'll have to move those disabled things away, somewhere whrer nobody sees it (out of the house, generally) Edited May 21, 2017 by ttabakova

I ran the meshes through NifOptimizer and tried to edit stuff in the new CK but every time I try to bring up meshes instant CTD. The mod loads in-game with a couple of missing textures, but I can't do anything in the CK in SSE version. Well, I've almost finished doing what I wanted with my Breezehome mod. It's ok in Oldrim, but I just don't know how it will look in SSE. I can't edit in in CK. I don't know how to put water in my round bath tub yet, I need to nav mesh still and I'm having issues with the ladder because I had to move it, but I watched a video today and made a bookshelf and it kinda worked YAY ME!! Thank you for all your advice :)
thumbincubation
It sounds like your meshes aren't SSE compliant yet. Instead of the nif optimizer, try this. Cut/paste the original mesh into a safe location. Then copy and paste the copy back into whatever folder you're using. Make sure it has the same name. Work within the copy, rather than the original. Better safe than sorry. Open in Nifskope (2.0.0 pre-alpha 6) Spells > batch > triangulate all stripsSpells > batch > make all skin partitions * If you get the option, change bones per partition to 60. Armor usually requires it, while others may not.Spells > batch > add tangent spaces and update *** I usually save these with (file > auto sanitize before save) turned off. On rare occasions, it will still crash and I'll have to sanitize. On other occasions it will crash after sanitizing and I have to do it again, without. It seems to work more commonly with auto-sanitize turned off, so that's the one I try first. This is the main reason for working with a copy, rather than the original. Thank you but I wouldn't have a clue how to use Nifskope. I guess I may have to learn eventually if that is the issue. The funny thing is it will load in game OK (minus a couple of textures) but crashes the CK. BTW, would you happen to know how I can put water in a round tub I have in my mod. I've googled and looked on you tube and through the resource authors forum but can't find any info on how to go about it. Thanks for all your help anyway  Edited May 22, 2017 by CyniclyPink
thumbincubation
If I recall correctly, there's only one truly round water item in the game. I think it's LargeRainBarrelWater01, or something similar. It's an activator, so you should be able to click activators and then type in rain, and have it come up. All the other waters, that I know of, are square or oddly-shaped. Basically, center over your tub, find that water, and drag it into the tub. It will most likely be far too big for the tub, so it may land too high above to see. You will want to zoom out, or spin your view so you can see if it landed above or under the tub. If you can't find it, without clicking on anything, hold the Z key and look for the little raise-lower arrow. Then you can right-click on that and drag it up or down, or left click on it and drag it side to side. Once you have the water in sight, double click on it and get to your size/positioning tab (I want to call it 3D off the top of my head). Then you can use scale to make it larger or smaller, and z + right-click to drag it up or down, to the right fill level. If you run into scale not fitting, (ie: 1 is too big, but .9 is too small) then you can single-click the water, hold S and use your mouse to size it, like you do when scaling light sources. thumbincubation
Rain barrel water was, as I recall, a bit picky in oldrim. I haven't messed with it here, though. It got to the point that I used dwemer troughs as tubs, so I could fill it with the more cooperative square water (like water512). If you have trouble with rain barrel water, you may need to build something square around your tub, so you can fill it and hide the water beneath the edge of the square frame. Hi :) Yeah I found that rain barrrel water and tried it but I couldn't get it to show up. I also thought of putting something square around the tub, but I'd need something made of wood and so far haven't found anything. The space where I have the tub is only small, so I'm limited. I've seen other mods with tubs, so maybe I should ask. I can't find anything about adding water that isn't landscape or waterfall. Thanks again, you're a gem. thumbincubation
If you go with the square water, what you want is going to have a size in the name, like water512 or water1024. Depending on how bit your tub is, you might have to scale them down, but look for ShipWoodBeamStraight or ShipKatariahWoodBeamStraight. They're the rectangular beams, more or less like railroad ties, that stack up nicely, to make a wood-sided enclosure, like a hot tub. You can also go into statics > architecture and find the shack kit. Use shack walls to make your enclosure and then trim it out with beams at the top and corners. The dwemer trough also takes square water nicely, if you want that stone hottub look.
