Constantly freezing

My Skyrim has been constantly freezing, now notably during the quest Scoundrel's Folly, as I 'shadow' Gulum Ei, once we reach the turn on the dock, the game freezes. The game did freeze every so often before this, but now it's happening every time.

have you tried disabling all your mods to see if your game stops crashing? do it and if it runs then enable half your mods, see if it runs, enable a few more till you narrow down which one might be it.

Hi MarcusTheFox.

It's hard to really know whats the problem but to fix the freezes in game you should add "Safety Load" mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46465/?

If that does no change try adding the mod called "Crash Fixes" which fixes almost all crashes: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/?

If none of them works try by installing this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/?

Do you have SKSE installed? If not I higly recommend you to do so! http://skse.silverlock.org/

Another thing you can change is in the the file "Data" in your main file of Skyrim there is something called "SKSE" and in that file you can find "SKSE.ini" and there you can find something like this:

[Memory]

DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=512

ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

And you should try by instead of 512 at the first one you should try with 640 or 768 or even 1024 instead of 512 which is very low and you need more if you got mods installed. And a good advice don't change the other one under, It's not needed at all to be changed.

Hope atleast something of these works for you! :)
