Axisdeath Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I want to see what happens if I spawn 2 mammoths, a Dwarven Centurion(Or a higher leveled version, but i can't remember it's name), and a frost dragon. But using the console I don't know how! So, i have two questions. One) What command do i use to spawn things like the above? Two) What are the ID's of the above, so i actually can spawn them?
wesside0yes Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Use "player.placeatme xxx y", where xxx would be the desired creature and y would represent the desired amount. If you wish to find out spawncodes for future references you can try using help xxx 4 in the console command menu where xxx would be your creature in question. Example: help mammoth 4, the console will now show all available console codes for the creature 'mammoth', use the 'page up' and 'page down' buttons to scroll into their respective directions in the list. Hope this helps.
GoodfellowGoodspring Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Surely it would be easier using the Creation Kit?
BrknSoul Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Surely it would be easier using the Creation Kit? Actually, no. You'd have to load up the creation kit, find the right cell, create the creatures, give them scripts and factions, save the plugs, and then load it in Skyrim. Why do all that when you can just already be in Skyrim and use the "player.placeatme x y" command.

And msot of the time much more complex than what the OP wants to do with it . The console is definatly good enough for what he wants to do .
Kane65 Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 You can use batch files to create all at once if you want. I have a couple that I use to create dragons or bandits for target practice. It's a little cheating because using destruction skills (especially runes) on 20 bandits raises destruction super fast.
