Jedi & Sith/Characters & Factions

What's up everyone. 590 pages in this forum means tl;dr to me so this may have been brought up before, unsure. I haven't previously modded any game and Skyrim is my first real experience with mods period. But after tooling around in the CK (which is also an entirely new experience for me), I can't seem to be able to create the Jedi/Sith characters and factions I've been dreaming up. With so many Star Wars mods it seems almost necessary to do so.

 

I was hoping to create them both in the likes of the Vigilants of Stendarr, where they have a 'home base' or central location where they congregate, and then proceed in small groups to wander about Skyrim looking for members of the opposing faction to fight. I was hopelessly trying to introduce the Jedi and Sith Academy mods in different locations for their respective bases, as well as the Magicka Sabers mod and some robes/masks textures. The 'force powers' were simply going to be one-handed Sparks spells, and the Force Pull/Push/Burst from Midas Magic. Something else I would've liked to add was an increased jump height/sprint speed, since that's pretty trademark of force users.

 

At first I thought I could get by with using hints and feedback from members, but to little avail. So unless someone would like to walk me through it step-by-step, which would obviously be heavily time consuming, or if anyone would like to take the idea and make it theirs feel free. I'll keep working at it, but I'll stick to small stuff for now until I get used to the CK. Thanks for your time =)

Well, I made more progress than I thought I would. Have 8 new NPC's made, different combat variations of Jedi/Sith and they're working pretty well. Only problem is when they pull out the sabers there's no sound or visual other than the hilt itself. But the shock strike effects still show when they hit each other. Weird.. the sabers have full functionality if I give them to any followers. I also can't figure out how to make them wander in small groups on specific paths. Still no progress on the whole 'home base' deal, I haven't even explored that part of the CK yet. Any help please?

I like the idea of Jedi/Sith in skyrim. I think their persona's fit well in this type of game. Somthing that I did in FO:NV for myself was download MGE's WARZONES mod and change the loadout of the fighting factions in that mod. What this does is pit several hundred enemies against each other in certain parts of the map, so I changed the ncr troops into Rebels and the Fiends into stormtroopers with the bosses of either factions being Jedi/Sith respectively. As you can imagine I had quite abit of fun with that lol. All you would have to do then is build their respective bases. If you decide to go this route I suggest getting approval from MGE if you're going to post.

hey, I'm pretty new to this forum but I found a very nice place that could be a great potential base for a sith faction. I found a vast dwemer city in blackreach and sever locations inside could be used as a base for a sith academy. Figured you might want to give it a look.

I've also found that aside from the rather large castle down in blackreach it has several ways to the surface, I've found several exits to various parts of skyrims surface. one being that it connects windhelm and darwstar so far that I've found anyway. this place would be perfect for a sith base :) lemmie know what you guys think.
