guul66 Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Simple problem: I'm trying out the GECK with the Bethesda tutorial, but I cannot COC to the cell to check if its working.I've placed the COC marker in the cell, even tried if the problem was in the location of the marker, but it seemed not to be. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
csbx Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 So this is a tutorial with which you have created a cell in Fallout 3 ? What is the ID of the cell ? I don't even think you need a COC marker for that to work--it would just randomly plop you in (IIRC).

All it did was freeze up for a few seconds, and then do nothing. No error message, no effect on the game.
csbx Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 That's what it does when you enter the name of a cell that doesn't exist. Are you typing the 'friendly' name instead of the ID ?
csbx Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 That's insane :D. So you're running fallout 3, you're using the version of GECK for fallout 3, your mod is 'ticked' in your mod manager and placed in the data folder for Fallout 3. It, uh, is ticked, right ?
guul66 Posted May 21, 2017 Author Posted May 21, 2017 Oh one thing to note, while it automatically ticks the mod, it automatically unticks zeta, so i can't load zeta into my game. Maybe it has something to do with that. A wild guess.
