As the title suggests, I was wondering about the possibility of an auto-save mod that occurs during workshop/settlement building. I've looked around a bit and it seems as though there isn't one that works the way I'd like it to. I suppose it's possible one could already exist, or perhaps has been suggested before, but if that's the case, I couldn't find it. Basically, I enjoy workshop mode and building settlements, but there are times when I get really into it and make some great settlement, only to have my game randomly crash and cause all of my work to disappear in an instant. I was wondering if it's a possibility to set up a workshop auto-save feature that creates an auto-save after every few placements of buildings, objects, etc... For example, like every 10 or 20 placed items triggers the auto-save so if the game does crash at some point, there wouldn't be too much work lost. Thanks for reading this and hearing me out! Please let me know if such a mod does in fact exist, or if it's simply not a possibility because of the way workshop mode works.
SiPlusPlus Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Hello, I am beginning work on this at the moment. The only function I can seem to find that allows me to save the game would be RequestSave()which may not automatically save, but instead prompt you to save. We'll see how it works out.

Maybe someone can think up a creative way to do this, but the best thing I can do for you is make it autosave when the workshop menu is closed. Would you like me to upload this mod?

I AM SO SICK TO DEATH OF FO4 RANDOMLY HARD CRASHING AFTER I HAVE BEEN ON A CREATIVE RAMPAGE FOR LIKE AN HOUR WITHOUT REALIZING HOW LONG IT'S BEEN SINCE MY LAST SAVE *So much rage*
