Translation:

I can speak a little. I am also this way. You need to use London,England. Chicago,USA and Texas,USA cannot be used. I don't know why.

Attempting to use the Chicago or Texas servers resulted in a timeout, but trying to use the London server allowed me to download the files that I tested it on.

I am Australian, studying Chinese at Nankai University. My language class has many Japanese people. I think that young Japanese people are not bad, they also study Chinese. I think that Chinese people are really friendly.

His comment roughly means:

But there are a few (?)historical events(?) that are very unhappy (referring to the history between Japan and China).

Not bad, you can speak and write, that's no mean feat.

The US servers might have been blocked in China, but you shouldn't be having problems in Australia... Odd.

It's actually quite hard to put together coherant sentences when most of what you've learned are useless things like introductions, places, and other stuff that while useful in those particular cases, is only useful in those particular cases. But this is probably because the book I'm learning from is geared toward people who would be doing the exchange student thing, so can have an excuse for not knowing how to converse. Then there's the whole part of "having trouble learning things that 4 and 5 year olds are learning fairly easily" that is a slightly humbling experience.

On a side note. The mods must be getting a laugh from this thread, there are atleast 4 different languages being written here.

Make mine a currywurst, with a glass of Romer Pils. Or perhaps a glass of Weisherbst!

Blutwurst FTW, it is the thought that you find repulsive....the taste is divine.

Not spicy mustard, you want "Feuersenf" !

Next time the opportunity presents itself, I'll man up and try it. And yes, you're right, it is the the thought that I find repulsive. Maybe if I didn't know what it actually meant I'd be more apt to try it. :whistling:

"Feuersenf". What exactly is it?

Sekarang anda membuat saya ingin memakai kata-kata dari negara saya sendiri. Ok, sekarang jadi berapa bahasa coba? hehe..

Extremely hot and spicy mustard......An acquired taste but I miss it, I lived in Germany, for 12 years mostly in Karlsruhe, with a year in heidleberg and another at Feldberg Schwartzwald on a mountain top, and traveled quite extensively around the country.

Yes... Unlike the land of Tamriel, here on Earth we speak more than just English. LOL

Though most of the multicultural posts have gone way off track... Why are we talking about spicy mustard and bradwursts? Sure that's a winning combination, but I'm hungry and I don't want to be reminded of food!!!
