Rennn
I'm trying to add auto doors (the ones that automatically teleport you when you get close enough) to some areas in Skyrim. The goal is so that you'd be able to enter a building through windows and things like that, so it needs to be fairly precise. The problem is, no matter how small I make the auto door, it always activates from a long distance. What do I tweak to make it only activate from a closer range? Rennn
I don't need help with that anymore. What I'd like answered is this:Is it possible to make regular doors invisible without making them impossible to open?
tutk
How exactly did you decrease the activate distance? I've been trying to change this as well... Modifying the "fAutoDoorActivateDistance" in the CK "Gameplay Settings" seems to have no effect on my saved plugins. tutk
Is it possible to make regular doors invisible without making them impossible to open? If you haven't already found your own method. Here's how I did this. - Open an extracted nif of a door with Nifskope (I used shiptrapdoor01). - In the Block Details, right click on "BSFadeNode". From the drop down menu choose "Node" and click "AttachProperty" and select "NiAlphaProperty". - Find and expand "BSLightingShaderProperty". Find Alpha in the list and adjust its value (0=invisible).
