Lukong1515
I'm hearing PS4 has the most limitations and I can't find an official list of the limitations, but this is what I gather from a 10min google search- Max File Size of 900MB - No New Assets like Scripts, Custom DDS Textures, Custom BSGM Materials and Custom NIF Mesh, In-Game Assets Only 1. What about Custom Plugins that allow a PowerArmor to be Standalone then uses Vanilla Mesh & Vanilla Textures/Materials?2. What about NIF Mesh that are repositioned (Polys unedited), does that count as a Custom NIF Mesh?3. Is there a possible way to rotate a NIF using the Plugin?3. On XB1, does it have the same limitations as PS4? Edited May 21, 2017 by Lukong1515
AGreatWeight
Indeed, PS4 users are saddled with a mod limit of under 1gb, and no new/altered assets, no new scripts, meshes, textures, materials, audio files etc. Only vanilla assets.Xbone users fare better, although the 2gb mod limit does hamper their ability to use a lot of mods with large file sizes. Oddly enough, for Skyrim Special Edition, Microsoft has seen fit to allow a mod limit of 5gb, but Fallout 4 is still stuck at 2gb.Basically, whichever of these two platforms you happen to use, your currently* restricted in one form or another unfortunately. *unless one or both manufacturers decided to lift the imposition - highly doubtful in Sony's case.
