The reason for the Orc's demise is not readily apparent, though there are some strange marks around the neck. The belly is intact. The orc-body has been stripped clean like the others, though there is no sign of any mutilation as the other bodies show.

Karina's search comes up empty - the Cerboean does have the papers, and Tilindra will have to get them from him.

As various members of the party search, there seem to be no other entrances or exits from this area. As the various areas of the room are taken in, it becomes obvious that the looting and destruction here was total. There are but few scraps remaining of the meal that was in the barrels, and the white powder turns out to be flour. The reason for the pinkish areas becomes clear - the flour and blood have mixed, and have created a thick, pink pasty substance at points.

Whatever or whoever waas here that belonged to the fabric, it obviously is not here now. Those who have been in the room the longest are beginning to reach thier limit of being able to deal with the stench and poor air quality.

Not being able to take anymore, Tilindra turns even greener, and runs out the door and heaves, bringing up her breakfast. Feeling decidedly better, she sits on the stairs, and takes a drink from a water flask.

"Sorry about that," she says in an embarrassed tone. "I guess the smell got to me. Maybe we should head outside for some fresh air."

Karina comes out of the halls, trying to look stately, but she is an interesting shade of greenish white as she emerges. "I've seen death before," she murmurs, "and I've seen brutality, but I don't think I will ever get that scene out of my head. I sincerely hope that the end of the girl was not met in there." She collapses, then stirs and wakes a few seconds later. "Sorry, I guess it took all of my energy jsut to keep from breaking down in there."

Tilindra helps Karina up, and offers her a drink from the water flask. [/b]Here, this might help. I think we all hope that. To meet your end in such a way... She shakes her head, trying to clear the images that her overactive imagination fills it with. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. Let us follow the others upstairs, where we do not have to look at this.

She puts out her arms, offering to help Karina upstairs if she is still feeling faint.

Kyrene talks in a deep gulp of the fresher air. "Allright folks. Any suggestions? I hope that the child was not down there in that mess. From the smell of it, that has been there for more than a few days."
