SimVig
Solros breathes deeply and freely again that he is relatively far form the stench. "Ugh, that made my head hurt. Let us go outside altogether... Maybe you can then find some tracks and tell us what could have happened after this..... slaughter." He heads out of the cave. Kethruch
June 05, 1048 0845 As those who leave get back to the outside, they are greeted by the sweet smell of the morning at the edge of the woods. The sun is out, and the warmth and energy that it gives is somehow refreshing. The residual smell from below seems to fade away, and the faces around seem to regain a more healthy color. Those below are finding nothing else of interest, other than the occasional interesting and brutal way that people can be killed.
Prowler03
"I think we've been diverted. As you can all see, there are no other passages, and looking for the girl seems to be a lost cause. I'm heading back outside, I feel that she is nowhere inside this cave. Morgo puts his axe up on his shoulder and makes his way towards the opening of the cave. Melisande
Karina looks around as more and more of the party stumble out of the cave. "Thank you milady... Tilindra, isn't it? I try to maintain the facade of the station to which I am trying to attain. There are times when I cannot, though. I am working on it." She straightens herself up and tries to regain her composure. "The orcs I found were about a mile or so north of here, so that might be the way we want to head." She whistles a trill whistle, awaiting a response. Adrian Laguna
OOC: My sincere apologies for not having participated for a while. What's worse is that I don't have any real excuse. For some reason I just never got around to posting. The Cerboean gives up on the papers and finally hands them over to Tilindra as she exists the cave. Then he leaves the first room and goes outside."I take it that you didn't find the the girl, or any survivors." He says, more as a statement of fact than a question. Tilindra Melir
Thank you Cerboean. It does not look like the girl is here. I'd guess either the orcs got her, or this isn't the bandit hideout. She looked around at the others. I'm kind of hoping the latter, otherwise she is definitely gone. She looked at the papers, using her innate ability with languages, to try and decipher the language. Emry
Kyrene looks up and blinks as she enters into the sunlight. "Karina, you said battled some orcs not far from here. Could you lead us to that spot? We might find some clue of the girl's whereabouts from there."
Kethruch
June 05, 1048 0850 Tilindra has no luck with deciphering the document either. The figures don't even look like any language she's seen or heard of. Between her and the Cerboean, there is a feeling that this was not a language in the classic sense of the word. Melisande's whistle soon gets a response, as a whinnying is heard before her horse comes galloping up to the party.
Adrian Laguna
"It seems would seem that the documents are written in some sort of code. Tilindra give me back the papers, I will try to decipher them." The Cerboean says. Then addressing the others, "I will stay here and try to decipher the papers while you investigate the orcs. Tilindra, you can stay here and help me if you want."
