Tilindra Melir
Tilindra nods in agreement. I think your right. It's not set out right to be a language. I will stay and help you. I would be no use against the orcs, while this is something I can do. I know we will not find the girl here, but it is very close to the village, and I would not like to think that this could bring them problems in the future, when we could have stopped it now. She looked at the group. Do you wish to meet back here when you have finished with the orcs?
Emry
Kyren frowns at the suggestion that the party split up. "I do not think it wise that we separate, especially if the warriors go to fight the orcs and leave you two to decipher this text. Who knows, you could be ambushed by the very orcs we hunt for. There is safety in numbers. If it does come to a fight, hang back. There is no dishonor in admitting you do not have the skills of a fighter; each fights their own battles in their own way." SimVig
"I agree with Kyrene" Solros says. "We should really stick together, especially in times and places like these. I, for myself will go with the others, and if it comes to a battle, try to help them if I can. If not, well, then I'll just stay back like Kyrene said." Kethruch
Sorry about not posting for a while - physical problems. June 05, 1048 0852 There is a sense of urgency in the actions of Killian, as if he is trying to tell Karina something.

Melisande
"There, there," Karina says as she gently strokes the horse's nose. "What's up, Kellian?" She moves to the saddle and slings herself into the seat. "I will go and scout out what's got him spooked. I'll be back in a few minutes." As she turns the big horse to head out, she looks back to the party. "The orcs I found were outside a kind of mini - box canyon north of here. If you wish go on, I will catch up with you on the way. There were only the two there at the time, but there could have been a sizable encampment there, so be careful if I'm not back before you get there." She pulls the big horse's head around. "Go to the problem Kellian." She says as she heads off wherever the horse will take her. OOC - the stuff in the middle paragraph is actually from Kethruch through PM - so it's not just me making it up. Also, welcome back Kethruch and hope youfeel better for a long time..... Emry
Kyrene looks wistfully at the retreating pair. "I believe we should follow them to that box canyon. " With that said, she heads north into the woods, looking for a game trail going in the right direction.
Kethruch
June 05 1048 0900 As the group tries to get their bearings and decide what to do, the big horse is back again, crashing through the brush and into the area around the mouth of the cave. Melisande
"Orcs!" Karina cries as she reins in Kellian. "I don't know what your plans were, but grab whatever you can find to defend yourself." She quickly looks at the group around her. "They outnumber us maybe one and a half to one, but I don't think they know we're here. They're definitely coming this way though, and there isn't much ntime before their here!." Karina maneuvers Kellian over to the side of the entrance. "If we are going to fight them, I think it's best if I stay mobile. Kellian knows what he's doing in this type of terrain. I think anyone who's a fighter needs to get front and center, quick!" PS - Once again - this is after conversation with Kethruch.
Tilindra Melir
On hearing Karina's shouts Tilindra instinctively willied herself to disappear, attempting to become no more than a shadow, as she pulled her dirk from its sheath. She was ready to defend herself.
