Acoran
"It sounds good. But if we get in there and find it is too....tough to manage. I offer a plan to fall back on. I have certain...skills that can be employed to nock off a few of them. But in open combat I'm not very proficiant." Karath explains. (OOC: If we are going to enter a fight. Shouldn't someone find out what happend to the other players?)
Melisande
"Just how strong did that gate look?" Karina asks, wondering about Kellian's ability to break it down if it were strong. "I agree with the rest. Besides, if we wait until dusk, the fires wil lite up their positions while allowing us to dart in and out of the darkness." Acoran
"But can we afford to wait 'til dark? They ahve the children, plus they could send someone out as a scout, or, I know nohting of orcs, but perhaps the could catch our sent...." Karath responds slowly. Melisande
"You are, of course, correct, milord." Karina says with a slight bow. "Please forgive me. My master always told me that I only thought things through half way before acting, or not acting as the case may be. Are we all at a go then? I'm not sure that the wait will do anyone any good. Karath is right, we are at risk as long as we stay here and they are not dead. I think we can count on this battle being a little harder than the other, as we are down a fighter and I would think that these are better equipped." If we are to go, I would say it be now, before we are discovered."
Emry
"Could we get the boy to point out which building the Orcs sleep in? Then we might catch some of them unaware if we torch it."
Kethruch
June 05, 1048, 0940 Tilindra stammers something to the boy, who them looks at her in disbelief. He says nothing, though. "I think" she says finally, "that whatever chance there was of that went by the boards when the sun came up. Judging by our fight this morning, these orcs do not travel by night - they seem to be up during the day. There may be just a few of them, so they might not have anyone iwth the ability to slack off, if I recall what the boy said earlier." Morgo and Zuriel stand quietly, and nod in approval of all of the things said, though neither has anything to add. (I will be handling the two of them for now unless their owners decide otherwise. Think of them as henchmen at the moment, they'll follow orders, but won't initiate anything unless the 2 players post....) "I can fight if I have to." Tilindra finally says. But my value might be better in a support kind of way. There is a certain power," she pauses for a moment. "In music, and I may be of some general assistance to the group in this fight. I can also watch after the boy, and will relay anything else I can learn from him." Ahew looks at him and puts her arm around his shoulder. Emry
Kyrene looks at the group. "Karina, why don't you charge with Kellian and we follow behind? Having a large horse charging at you tends to be quite a distraction. May the gods be with us on this endeavor."

Melisande
Karina sees that all is set, and, since there seems to be no reason to wait, and that waiting might be dangerous, rides away to see about breaking through the barrier. She carefully rides Kellian up until she can see the barrier. Once there she rides back and reports her findings to the group. If she thinks it can be broken down, she suggests that the attack proceed at once, and that the others get ready.
Kethruch
June 05, 1048 0945 Welcome back from the forced hiatus, all! Karina returns to the group and reports that there should be no problem getting through the barrier. It is poorly constructed, and seems unguarded. The plan seems as though it should work well. (Karina -stalk - 105, Observation - 99, tactics - 47) Tilindra, Morgo, and the rest of the NPCs climb the hill to get a vantage point. Tilindra scouts for a good place where she feels her voice will carry and be able to be heard by those she wishes to influence. Morgo readies his axe, and is looking at the others for the go signal. If it does not come soon, it appears as though he might charge the orcs singe-handedly.
