Emry
Kyrene follows the rest of the group in looking for where the other children might be hiding or being kept. If nothing comes to attack her directly, she is going to head towards the first hut and scout around.
Kethruch
We'll continue on - as far as I can see it only means sections of the site wil be unused... June 05, 1048 0949 The orcish archer might be a larger threat, but is a ways off. As of now, Karath figures he is at the extreme edge of the archer's range. Cerboean - I am assuming this means that you are approching down the slope with Morgo and Zuriel.... Those coming down the hillside have not seemed to have been noticed by the orcs. The steepness of the sides is slowing their approach. The Cerboean, however, is doing well, and if he continues on, might be in extreme range for a shot at the orcs at the bottom of the hill next round. Karina and Kellian's next target is ahead, though it will take a moment for them to reach there. For all combatants, Tilindra's voice seems to be coming from tight next to them as she sings a song of valor and bravery. All seem to be uplifted in their thoughts of the battle with the sound of her voice crude map attached - remember - is not to scale - the canyon is 100 yds wide at the widest point (that's 300 feet). SimVig
After constructing Kyrene's splint, Solros fell in deep thought. With the battle over, he had a chance to really think about the whole ordeal. By sheer luck, Kyrene got only a wound. They could have all died there, but that's what he came there for, some excitement and a little real danger. It's the real danger part he didn't really think about before leaving his past life behind. Abruptly, he realizes that everyone else had left. Then he vaguely remembers hearing the word north, and slowly starts to tread that way, still turning all of this over in his mind. And then he comes upon the camp to see Morgo and Zuriel charge down the hill. He hastily climbs to hill to see what is going on, and ovserves the area he realizes that he has found himself in another battle. OOC: I'm truly sorry and I ask you all to forgive me for disappearing for a while. The truth is, I've been terribly busy lately, and I only barely had time to even remember to look here. Kethruch
No problem, SimVig. June 05, 1048 0949 Solros comes to the top of the ridge and looks down on the canyon. Tilindra nods to him as he goes past, though does not stop her song. Solros suddenly seems to hear the song in his head, and feels courage and well-being well up in him. Melisande
Karina looks around and leaves the closest one for the group with her. Seein a bunch further down, she spurs on her big steed and heads for the ones on the left side of the canyon, well away from the rest of the group. She is heartened to see the rest of the party coming down the ridge, and yells as she rides, swinging her katana over her head, trying as best to divert the attention of the orcs in the canyon away from the people coming down the hill. Adrian Laguna
Ooc: While Adrian Laguna is absent minded enough to forget to pick up the staff droped in the previous battle, the Cerboean is not. So he still has it. The Cerboean continues to keep charging up the bolt. Using the staff to make movement easier, and with a mild effort to not be to obvious, continues desending. Though he is now moving more towards the orc archer rather than the camp.
Acoran
Karath follows behind Karina, not close or fast, but close enough that he can be of aid if she is overwhelmed. He stays ready and watches for a target than can be handled easier or one that is comeing for him.
Emry
Kyrene is still moving carefully towards the first hut.
Kethruch
June 05, 1048 0950 Karath's attempts to follow behind the trotting horse soon wear him out, as the pace is quite spritely. He finds himself, however, about even with the group on the right, which Karina has decided to bypass. They are moving toward him, one weaponless, one with a battleaxe. (Karath - LD Run 55, observation 185 - Tot exp 72) Karina continues onward, and over the shoulder of the horse, it looks as though the orcs are going to try to make a stand. (Karina ride(easy) 116, observation 118, tot exp = 42) Emry reaches the first hut, and is greeted by the solitary orc who is trying to defend it. The orc seemed to be doing nothing, then swings up with a vicious punch which just misses. At this range the orc appears to be gaunt to the point of emaciation, and open sores are covered with flies. (Emry, observation 189, tot exp = 25) Morgo and Zuriel are nearing the back two near the tent, whose attention seems to be fixated on the horse that is riding past. Next round they feel they will be in a position to strike, when Morgo dislodges a hunk of rock, which creates a mini-slide down the hill. The left hand orc at the bottom notices, and turns to face the threat coming down the hillside at it. (Zuriel - stalk roll 102, tot exp = 10), (Morgo, stalk rolll -23, tot exp = 10) The Cerboean, picking his way down the side, is finding it difficult to keep his concentration, but he thinks he has the spell intact as he gets into long range for the casting. (Cerboean - Stalk 45, concentration 115, spell 102 - total exp 115) Solros, with the best view of the battle, continues his descent into the canyon. With his vantage, he has the opportunity to help either the injured Kyrene, go with Morgo and Zuriel, try to hurry to assist Karath, or even make a move toward the archer. (Solros - stalk 112, observation 155, tot exp = 42)
Acoran
Karath, seeing the apporching group, stops. Spying the battleaxe and noting its potental danger he steps back and drops into a ready position. At the first sign off the axe man moving he quickly stepped to the side not being attack and make a trhust for the orc side. If the un armed one attacks first he jumps back far enough to be out of danger from the axeman before engaging the unarmed one. If neither attacks he waits, and watches.
