BonzaiBanana Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 (edited) Hello people! I have had a most annoying problem for a while. I've seen posts scattered around on other forums about this issue but so far, there has been no fixes. The problem is that when I download mods from the Nexus (namely large files), when I extract them or install them using Mod Organizer they are corrupted. I have tried re-downloading the files again, again and again. Sometimes the files are then completely okay, but only after re-downloading for a long time. The reason I am making this topic is because I have been downloading SMIM on and off for about 3 hours, and every single time the file is corrupt. For Skyrim HD - 2k Textures, I had to download the lower resolution because the time between downloads was too long, after 2 retries the files were no longer corrupt. Any help is greatly appreciated, I would hope not to spend over a week just trying to get graphical mods to install properly. System specs below if they are needed. BonzaiBanana Posted May 22, 2017 Author Posted May 22, 2017 After 4 hours and 40 minutes, I finally installed SMIM. It only took 46 tries but the archive is not corrupted. Okay... next up : amidianBorn textures. :wallbash:
rbcarter101 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 I've been having a similar issue with FO4. Switched from NMM to MO, Disabled Defender and Firewall, downloads are all on the same SSD as FO4. Its especially worse with large files, like texture compilations.
