lumiene Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 Any interesting or rewarding ways of investing the septims, etc. ? I find it disappointing that accumulation of wealth is a burden in Skyrim.
Ceasirius Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Immersive Jewlery is probably the biggest one - otherwise it may be some perk overhaul that forces you to use trainers, or something that re-prices houses (seen a few mods doubling their cost, etc) Otherwise what worked nicely for me is spending a lot of money on decorating the heartfire estates. Other than that, I am not really sure.

I am using the unique loot, morrowind miscellania and morrowloot mods. Changes the economy and are pretty awesome. Items are priced better and it's more rewarding. Edited May 28, 2017 by gaultjohn
Deleted1324428User Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Just "deposit" your wealth of septims somewhere

Edit: I wonder if there's a mod that allows you to give more money to beggars than just a septim. I'd give Silda the Unseen 50,000 so that she could move into a nice house and get a better wardrobe. Or give Narfi a ton of money so that he could fix his house and hire a bodyguard to protect himself from the Dark Brotherhood Edited June 4, 2017 by LeddBate

You can use Servants Sort Loot to hire beggars to be servants in your house. You can change their wardrobe (it cycles through all the common clothes) and give them things like food and money as wages and to run the household. It's pretty cool, I've been using it for a while. Brenuin is currently managing my little horse farm outside of Whiterun. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/235/?
LeddBate Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 That mod is awesome! You are awesome for pointing me to it! Kudo given.
