Incrediblezagzag
I have been working on my own fairly simple quest, just to prove to myself that I can do it before I move onto anything more difficult, however I have run into a problem: The quest starts properly and the objectives assign, but even though I have set which aliases are the quest targets, the game does not point arrows to them in game when I get the quest. This makes the quest impossible, as it selects a dungeon using the radiant system, so if I don't know which one it is I can't actually do the quest. All it is doing is looking for a Draugr Crypt with a boss, and then placing an item on said boss that has to be returned to the questgiver. The target for the quest is the Draugr Boss who should be carrying the item to be collected. The other problem is that even if I advance the quest with the console I don't get an arrow to appear on the questgiver either, which is also a problem. The questgiver is a character I added to the game myself if that matters. I even tried changing the quest so it applies exclusively to one dungeon and doesn't use the radiant system at all... but the markers still don't appear. I really hope that someone can help with this (On a completely unrelated note ticking the force subtitles box on my modded character's dialogue doesn't actually make subtitles appear unless I turn them on manually, which means something is wrong or I don't understand how to use it, and it doesn't seem complicated; just tick the box on every line that needs it...) ShariElAmir
Almost the same problem for me. I started making a quest, set the alias for an NPC and had made him the quest target. Target marker won't appear in game. I have tried to change the location of the reference of this NPC, but it won't solve the problem. Very confusing is that I have a quest already made where the marker on the NPC is no problem. Don't understand what I changed this time to make this problem appear. Thanks for all help that will come eventually along.
ShariElAmir
Okay, I have solved my problem. A little ridiculous, bit it was an unclean safe from another mod, which destroyed all the alias. New mods are only to be tested with clean safes. That's my lesson.^^
littleork
Anyone knows the solution to this? Im having the same problem, my quest marker wont work on random or specific npcs and I really need it to work for my quest. Is this common?
