Necromancy mod!

Hey all!

I love the idea of necromancy and summoning the undead etc, and I couldn't find any mods for it.

I am a new modder that knows the basics, and I am working on a necromancy mod which enables the player to obtain new necro-related items and spells. So far I am doing/have made:

 

A way to increase the summon cap without it feeling like a cheat, basically you go to a new place (no spoilers) and theres a guy who sells potions which increase the summon cap.

Summon skelaton/zombie versions of creatures and animals, as well as draugrs and skeletons, possibly skeleton dragons.

New weapons, like necro related staffs.

New area's

Necro companions and necro city. This isn't finished yet and is planned to be underground ;)

Personal player-house lairs fit for necro's.

Possibly a new necromancer skill tree, depending on how hard it is to make. I will probably be changing the conjuration skill tree a bit so thats more based on daedra (though ill make a seperate version which the conjuration skill tree doesnt change)

And some other changes I will say when they are more complete.

 

I am open to suggestions and idea's, also I would like to know what you would like me to change about death, instead of reloading you could, become a lich or go to a hellish place and battle you way out. Open to ideas for death to ;)

Please remember and understand I am new to modding so one or two things I may have to reject.

hmm place the underground city under helgen or another city the citys seacret coul be that it is ruled by the necro guild

 

Nice idea! Maybe a custom city and its leader is rumored to be mad, and he is being controlled by the underground necro's?

or the necros has taken over the helgen ruins and unlocked the many centuries old and forgoten ciy under helgen. it can have several exitpoints. the main gate can be inside the mountan one one of the citys side and several seacret entances inside the city that until now has bin totaly hidden by old dark magic. the player can eather join the city or fight them wath do you think?

You can now collect bones and skin from killed animals/NPC's to help in the summoning process.

 

and when you have enoch bone. a skull and a ribcase and things like that you can make a permanent skelleton companion that you can equpt armor and weapon on. it wil be no restriction on how many just how mutch magick you got as each one of them give you like - 20 mana as long as they are alive. so you can have a big skelleton armoy if you just have enoch mana. and some spells that can control the army like go wild, stay, archery, swords and stuff like that. that would have been awesome.

 

ps that skelleton systen was mutch like that in the oblivion mod that was my necro favorite:

That was the base idea but I haven't gone into details as Im still testing/trying different things. There will be something like that yes, but I do not yet know if it reduces mana or something else, or if it simply requires black soul gems and parts, or whatnot. Any suggestions fo rthis will be welcome.

 

PS: That was one of my favorite mods ;) Also idea's are all I need at the moment.
