How to make mod items craftable in the forge

Hi im new to modding but have been interested in for a long while i have installed the creation kit from steam and have made a few weapons and armor that can only be used via the console but would like to make them craftable in the forge, any tips cause im really stuck here? :wallbash:

the recipes for the item need to be created in the cobj group.

in the recipes you will link the item to the armor you made which is found in the armor group

 

best way to do this is simply open skyrim.esm

find a armor item and dupe it

and find its recipe and dupe that

 

then change your nif links in the armor file

then change the link in the dupe cobj recipe to point to the duped armor you made

 

name the armor what you like

change ingredients in the cobj recipe file if you like

 

from there with those 2 new data entries the cobj one and the armor one you have the initial stage of making more recipes and armor and adding them into the game

 

in addition the keyword material type will add the armor or weapon to its respective list (ebony, elven, leather, etc.. etc...)
