jackjack86
Working on a personal mod for the Grandmaster Ursine Armor and I'm trying to change the material (texture path) to point to my custom textures. I make my edits in w3edit, pack and install, but in game I don't see any change on the models.
jackjack86
I've since fixed my issue here. Was using a modded w2ent file that was not letting me change the mesh path for some reason. Went back to vanilla w2ent and this has been resolved in part. I need to figure out why the belt redcloth (mesh?) looks like sheet metal and I need to change the specular for the shoulder/gloves. I'm also having trouble merging my texture cache with the mesh pack but I think I can pack the xbm in W3Edit and copy/paste the texture.cache file seperately. Using CAPA14's black lined UUCA textures and meshes (Lexar might've done the meshes, I'm not sure). So, for right now this is just a personal modification as I will need their permission to upload. Edit: Read this post on the CDProjektRed Forums and apparent a high specularity with modded texture is linked to the alpha channel in the normal map. I don't really know how to filter channels in GIMP, tho. Edit2: I think I figured it out.
