David Brasher
How do you open up a .ckm or .bsl file? These are what the CK generates to upload to Steam Workshop. For diagnostic and quality control purposes, it would really be nice to be able to scrutinize what you are uploading and downloading. Is there a utility program that packages Skyrim files like TES4Gecko did? (The CK will do this, but only for putting them into the above mentioned file types for the purposes of uploading to Steam Workshop. How do scripts work now with Skyrim? It is kind of looking to me like maybe they no longer reside in the .esp and may need to be packaged separately along with the meshes, textures, sounds, and things like that. Sunnie
Scripts were remove from the archives and are now completely external. I suggest checking out the Papyrus Primer on the Creation Kit Wiki.
Elec0
The .ckm and .bsl files are, I believe, just information on your mod. The actual content resides in the .esp and .bsa files generated.

The Workshop uses the .esp and .bsa.There are several programs you can use to unpack . bsa's: BSAopt, BSA Commander, BSA Unpacker, etc.
