If all you want to do is make a race with different attributes/stats..etc. you want this

There are a lot of helpful tutorials for the CK on that site. If you are looking to create new race models/textures/skins..etc. let me know when you figure it out lol

Happy modding!

Creating a brand new race takes a while. I'd go on the Creation Kit wiki to do some tutorials and that way you can learn quickly/easily how to make your own race mods.

Creating a new race based off another isnt hard at all, you'll wanna use the beginning of the CK tutorial from Bethesda, as it doesnt go into much depth at all, I honestly think its pretty weak but thats my opinion, anywhoser, you basically duplicate it and have to spend a lot of time figuring out which hairstyles/face types/skin color are which and adding the ones you want, and then you adjust all the stats, bonuses and the rest on the general race edit screen, most of it is pretty self explanatory. Once you get into custom racial abilites/powers etc is when it gets more complicated

Yah i want to make either a half-fey race or some sort of Pre-Night-of-Tears Falmer. Mabey some demon, half demon race. Thus i would want to create new meshes and add textures and maybe animations (if the fey or the demons have wings they would need to move a little bit when sprinting or jumping). But right now i am just trying to think of lore and balancing stats.

PS i want to make a spell that changes the value of and disposition and agrission. The magic effect i would use would be "Peak Value Modifier" right? but i cant find it on the Magic efect list in the creation kit

Currently I'm working on getting my own custom race into the game with it's own skeleton, model, animations, etc.

So far I have the skeleton and the model in game with no problems at all; it doesn't move or do anything yet, but it's in there. Next thing to do on my list is to make a behavior graph for the thing and add an idle animation to it.

I'll be sure to put a tutorial of the whole process later on, from rigging your custom mesh with a skeleton, to editing the .nif files so that they can be put into the Creation Kit properly without errors popping up.
