I need Beginners Help

I have been making a smithing mod for the last few days (I think it's going to be great) but I stuffed up and deleted one of the recipes that I need again.

Can someone please tell me how to "un-delete" a recipe?

And is there a way to permanently delete something that I made and I don't want any more?

thanks

I don't believe you can undelete objects on lists. You can undo recent object placement changes in the render window, but that is about it. What you can do is load up a recent save, before you made your mistake. The CK crashes all the time, and modders make errors often, so it is good to save frequently, and use different names for your backups. It does no good to save frequently, but only in a single spot. If you delete something important from a mod when you have a system like that going, you are just sunk.

It is easy to delete or mod-clean out something that you made that you no longer want. In many cases, mod-cleaning is better, because just deleting an object can leave mod dirt behind. Conversely, mod-cleaning can overlook persistent references residing in cell 0,0. So in that case deleting is better than mod-cleaning. (Persistent references don't leave mod dirt in this scenario.)

To delete something you made, try selecting it and pressing the delete key.

Here is a mod cleaning tutorial: Mod Cleaning Tutorial

It is written for Oblivion, but the part on the CS is the same as what you would do on the CK.
