Modder Resource: Architecture Kits

After messing around in the CK for a while I noticed that most of the architecture .nif files for the major cities do not follow the "kit" style that older TES games follow. This basically means that you can't easily build a city using, for example, solitude wall architecture unless you completely rebuild Solitude itself (as all the pieces are made for an exact fit rather than a "universal" fit).

I would assume that this would be quite the undertaking and perhaps someone is already working on it but... I'm sure it would be appreciated by many modders if someone with a lot of time and 3D modeling skill could take some of these big city "chunks" and reduce them down to "universal" building blocks.

Hopefully my rather vague explanation makes sense.

We need some new architecture pieces. Walls, roof pieces, door ways, windowed walls, etc. There's the issue the OP mentioned and there's also the sloppy way Bethesda made most arch pieces.

Try building a new fort or castle from scratch. Doors don't always properly fit in the doorway pieces they're meant to go with. Imperial exterior wall pieces don't fit together without visual clipping or seams. I work with the grid to line up my walls and roofs and somehow there are still visible seams. And floors are a nightmare.

It would be a modder's dream if someone could make some new sets of organic and inorganic pieces for making new buildings.
