follower punching instead of using a weapon

hi,

 

my follower want use his weapon in a fight, he put his sword back and starts punching with the enemys.

i've found out, that are only when i use a .esp where i changed him. from 1h combatstyle to 2h combatstyle (lydia) in my case.

 

i have these effect with npc-editor and ck.

 

have anyone the same problem an maybe a solution for this?

I've had this happen to me as well. I found that when they don't start with the weapon type in their inventory, they won't use it, for example:

 

I created a new NPC, 1H combat style, and placed an iron sword in their inventory (in CK). They functioned normally, including when given 2H weapons in-game.

 

I created a copy of that NPC, 2H combat style, with the same inventory (in CK). They refused to use any weapon, even when given 2H weapons in-game.

 

I went back into the CK and changed the iron sword for iron greatsword, and then the NPC behaved normally.

 

Not sure if it was a fluke or something, but give it a shot.

i've tried following

 

 

create a *.esp with npc editor with normal stance

opened the created *.esp with the ck as active file

changed 1h combat style to 2h combat style

changed 1h human boss to 2h human boss

changed her skintone to 3, the hair to chestnut and add 50% black colored eyeliner

respecced to lvl 81 with some nice well done stats

gave her as outfit a custommade one without hood

gave her a steelgreatsword

export the face with ctrl+f4

save the *.esp

 

ingame ....

reload a new instance

remove the duplicated wedding outfit, but leave her the greatsword

gave her a nice armor (eisen armor with ebony crown)

gave her some nice weapons (ebony greatsword, ebony bow, some ebony arrows)

 

fast travel to action -> a cave with thugs in front XD

 

annnnnd BOOOOOOM my baby beats the s*** out of these guys with Bow at range und Sword inside close combat.

 

 

*ISSUE SOLVED* and one thing more to now .....to the others

hello, may be this probem is a very long time but I have to ask you that, how did you do it, can you guide me how to do it please?
