KiShuya Posted May 26, 2017 Share Posted May 26, 2017 (edited) Hey Guys & Gals, So a slight issue I'm having. For the last week or so, I've been attempting to get SkyUI 5.1 to work on Skyrim SE. Now I finally have it loading up and displaying correctly which is awesome, but there's a few minor issue that could be overlooked but I don't want to overlook them.1) There are very few $/? signs on my screen that I'd love to remove.2) After opening Inventory/Magic/Map There's a 3 or 4 second delay before the menu appears. (Not really a problem as the game still pauses like it should.3) Some Items/Schools aren't showing up in the menu. (Weapon Damage/Type/Magic School) You get the idea.Is there anyone that can offer an explination or give me a hint as to where I can start looking to find the problem so that I can finally patch this mod to work with Skyrim SE? I know SkyUI 2.2 works, but it looks terrible compared to 5.1 and I also know Search functionality will only work with SKSE64 when it's out. Still 5.1 is what I'm after. Any help is much appreciated. cdcooley Posted May 27, 2017 Share Posted May 27, 2017 All of those things are because they require SKSE to work correctly. By the time you get all of the SkyUI dependencies and problems fixed for 5.1 you'll basically be back to version 2.2. Basically everything they added after 2.2 required SKSE functions. The only feature after 2.2 that I could find that didn't require SKSE was the remapping of the E and R keys for consistency in the container menu. Download SkyUI 2.2 and apply the scripts I provide in the optional downloads section for my Better Container Controls mod to get the most functional SkyUI possible until SKSE64 is available. You'll get the improved key bindings, container categorization, working magic icons, and my enhancements including a Put Most key. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
