Alaisiagae
There are many realism mods out there. Some deepen immersion, such as the Harvest Flora/Containers mods. Other add realism, like the need for the character to eat, drink, and sleep. As I browsed Elderscrolls Filefront, I came across the mod Horse Dung. How much realism is too much realism? ;D Here are some suggestions for too-much-realism mods -- and feel free to add your own light-hearted "mods." They don't have to have serious methods of functionality or anything. Have fun! - Female PCs Mesntruate: So, what will this mod consist of? Probably make an effect similar to A Bloody Mess. Perhaps use YABM v09 scripts. Also utilize similar functions to those found in Bathing Mod. Penalities to personality if the PC doesn't bathe to decrease the level of blood (as per A Bloody Mess). Maybe add a constant Drain Fatigue effect as well.- Brush Your Hair and Teeth: Use a hair/tooth brush or suffer cumulative penalities to your Personality, Speechcraft, and Mercantile! Probably use something similar to the Bathing Mod.- Wash your clothes: Maybe something like A Bloody Mess, but with dirt instead of blood. Applied when the PC visits any dungeon or Bravil, and accumulates for the duration of the dungeon-jaunt. Remove by standing in water. Penalities applied: Drain Personality, Speechcraft, Mercantile. Removing/changing your equipped clothing/armor or standing in a river will remove the negative effects.- Build a Tan: Apply a (very, very small!) global Sun Damage to the PC. Then give the PC Sun Damage Resistance based on the Skin Tone setting from character creation. For every set amount of consecutive hours spent outside during the heat of the day (dependent on season and length of daylight hours), darken the character's skin (and thus add increased Sun Damage Resistance).- Male PCs Shave: Use a razor every set amount of days to fight beard/mustach stubble. Dynamic application of the Beard character gen settings. Stubble penalities to: Personality, Speechcraft, and Merchantile (unless it is interaction with an NPC Nord, they like beards, right?).- Cut your hair: Dynamic use of the Hair Length settings. After a certain number of weeks or months, the PC's hair length increases. Visit a barber to restore hair to the length selected at character generation, or change hair styles (I know there is a mod out for that already). No penalities (?). Make sure not to apply this to Argonians.- Obligatory Bathroom Mod: A wonderful companion to the Must Eat mods. PC must visit: Sewers (IC), the waterway in Bravil, or an outdoor location to relieve him/herself. Higher Willpower increases the duration the PC can go between eating and "relieving." Penalties for "not going": stepped incriments of penalties to personality, speechcraft, and mercantile (too distracted to interact/barter effectively!), ending with a finale: major hit to personality, speechcraft, and mercantile, plus damage to armor (if wearing any) and a "soil" effect (again, similar to A Bloody Mess) that will require the PC to bathe. If "soiling" occurs in a public place, then award the PC with Infamy points.

CJD
I think there are limits to how real you should go, cause eventually it will just be too much of a hassle, and become like your real life....boring..... So cut down on that realism so we can enjoy the game!

IndorilTheGreat
I think that a mod that would add too much realism to the game, would be one where ALL magic and ALL potions and ALL enchantments were taken out, and the combat was made more realistic (i.e. one blow with a war-hammer and your dead). A few arrow shots, your dead. Get sliced by a blade, your dead. Get punched in the face by some one wearing steel gauntlets, your dead. :whoops: I think you get the idea... :P

Vagrant0
I think that a mod that would add too much realism to the game, would be one where ALL magic and ALL potions and ALL enchantments were taken out, and the combat was made more realistic (i.e. one blow with a war-hammer and your dead). A few arrow shots, your dead. Get sliced by a blade, your dead. Get punched in the face by some one wearing steel gauntlets, your dead. :whoops: I think you get the idea... :PUnfortunately magic is needed in the game for almost everything to function. Without it there are too many people who are only able to hit you with their hands, and many creatures just don't work very well. If there dieties able of trans-planar teleportion, magic usage by the average person doesn't require too much suspension of disbelief. Well, 1 hit 1 kill isn't very realistic either, the human body is rather resiliant. But yeah, I've been there, done that. Having damage upped, and health lowered actually makes things interesting. It adds a whole new element really. Either you land the hit, or you're seriously injured. With magic added into the mix, mages and anything with fireballs become a serious threat (because of the lowered health). It's like playing the game on uber-hard.
