Can I attach a compiled script to an object?

Just as the description says, I need to attack a compiled script (one I made in Notepad++ and compiled) to an object in the game so that it can be activated. It's just a simple hello world program so I was hoping I could just attach my compiled scripts (once they are made in my text editor and compiled) instead of having to code in the creation kit's text editor. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Oh wow, I think I just answered my own question. You can chose a script to use when attaching a script to an object, but I think that's only source code files.
