DevilishPope
I've read all 10, waiting for the new one. ^^Good Stuff
drowst
I've read all except the most recent one. I thought the first 4 or 5 were outstanding, but then it seemed to slow down a lot after that. Still a good series, but it wasn't a "can't put down" for me anymore.
Tilindra Melir
Wheel of time is the best. I own them all and I can't wait for the next one. It has slowed down, but that just means that the battle is going to happen within 18 months, WOT time that is.
wesaynothin
I just picked up the first one. Of course I was stupid enoguh to pick up a 10-page series only months before 'A Feast For Crows' come out. *hits himself on the head*Â Good series. But I have a question; does the land they are in seem like Middle Earths future to anyone else?
german_man
Im about half way through the first one, its really sweet.
Tilindra Melir
When you get further in your see that its not. About 3000 years ago(The time in the prologue), The technology was pretty advanced. Jordan has borrowed a lot from a lot of different stories, but he's a D&D dm, so he does it well.
Malchik
I got as far as seven and then found nothing seemed to be happening and lost the impetus to read on. I think, with the huge numbers of characters there are (those who read my stuff complain but I have far fewer) it becomes difficult to keep up. It might be a series best read when it is finished. If he intends it to finish?
Tilindra Melir
From everything I've read, he has the ending planned out. I think there is only going to be another 5 books max, which considering the number of angles he's covering now will probably only just be enough though. drowst
Jordan said in an interview awhile back that he was going to end it in 2 more books (for a total of 12 in the series). I saw it on one of the WOT websites, WOT mania I think, but I haven't been to any of them in months......
