klokwerkaos
Anyone remember general of the Army when it was supported? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6648/? It's been abandoned for a long while now and was a great mod from the videos I've seen, but it's now entirely crash tastic and the author is mia for a long while. Since a recreation would have to be a bit different, I thought of at least one additional feature to add: allow recruitable faction settlers such as a Railroad unnamed, BoS squire (like children but can operate a guard post), Gen 1 synth, and while we're at it, since Nuka world allows raiders, why not have recruitable raiders as a whole faction (using gunner and/or nuka models). You could determine which were allowed at any settlement via a plopable faction flag. Having more plopable characters would be nice too (in what was previously referred to as the mercenaries). Since there are already a bunch of models in the game, it would be cool to see some for each faction as combatants but also somet that can maybe do something else and offer some kind of enhancement (ie, an institute scientist that grants nuclear physisist at any settlement they are at, or a BoS armorer that gives you armoring at max level at the settlement they are at or something like that. Along those lines, maybe a minuteman sergeant that offers an additional defense of 1 for every guard on duty, for the railroad, maybe a hacker or scrapper? A raider might pillage you extra loot in a chest once a week (components, caps, low level items you could use/sell), etc. i know it would be a large undertaking and I'd do it myself except I have pretty much no experience with any creation kits, and I'm looking to learn, but tackling a project this big isn't quite a starter project as I understand it and would be best left up to someone that has a clue, though I wouldn't mind helping with any busy work or creative input if desired. The good news is a lot of the ground work has been laid to make this mod work, it would require some additional work on top of that, but that would just make it a better mod as a whole. On the positive side, I'm pretty sure there would be a huge appreciation for a mod like this. Edited May 30, 2017 by klokwerkaos
klokwerkaos
And literally a few minutes after I post that I find it exists when browsing. FCOM. I don't know that it does quite the same thing, but I'll look into it and give it a shot :)
