How do I get a Jukebox to play like any other in the game?

In the GECK, whenever I place a jukebox anywhere in the cell, whether it be clean, dirty or the Vault 101 Jukebox, if I test it in the game, it just sits there. there's no "Activate Jukebox" option... it acts as a static item. Same story with the "Clean Refrigerator".

Can someone tell me how to remedy this?

It's probably easier than I'm making it out to be. I just don't understand what has to be done.

I was able to place the "Vintage Radio" in the cell at it worked fine without me having to do anything to it. 'Played GNR just fine.

There are static jukeboxes and a static clean refrigerator, these do nothing. The interactive jukeboxes should be on the activators list, and the interactive refrigerators should be on the containers list.

 

If you can't find a jukebox that works on the activators list, you should be able to make a new one like this...

 

1) open a jukebox that's an activator

2) change it's ID to something starting with your initials

3) close it, a box will pop up asking you if you want to create a new form, click yes to avoid changing every jukebox in the game.

4) find the new jukebox that starts with your initials, it should be in the activators list somewhere, open it up

5) this is where you have a couple of options. As redeyesandlonghair said, you can choose a script to go into it, so if there's a jukebox script in the GECK somewhere you can add that. Or there should be an option to give it a radio station, in which case it should act just like a radio when you turn it on, without needing a script.
